When we enter a low light situation coming from a high light situation , immediately the things inside the room do not appear clear to our eyes. This is because (ii) THE PUPIL TAKES TIME TO ADJUST.
- When we are outside i.e, in a high light situation, our pupil become smaller so that the needed intensity of light will pass on .
- Therefore when we enters in a dark room coming from outside our pupil takes time to increase the size of pupil ,so that needed intensity of light will pass on .
