Answer:your asnwer

Explanation:

No, all the substances cannot change it's state from solid to liquid or liquid to gas on heating Evaporation occurs when particles on the surface of a liquid transition into the gas phase. This is due to the movement of particles and can occur at temperatures lower than the boiling point. Evaporation will occur more rapidly in liquids as they become warmer due to increased vapor pressure of the liquid.

No, all substances don't change from solid to liquid and then to gas on heating. Some substances directly change into gaseous state when it is heated. They are called sublime. For example: Camphor

Usually when solids are heated they melt and becomes liquid. Then on further heating the liquid boils to form a gas. When we keep a piece of ice in a dish it melts and the water so formed evaporates after sometime. However there are some substances which on heating directly turn into gases from solids. camphor iodine crystals and solid carbon dioxide are such substances. Such substances are called sublimatory substances and this process of conversion is known as sublimation.
