when we pump air in tube of cycle how we are easy to paddle cycle

bcous when the tube have not air the tube of cycle is emty and then while paddling the tyree create friction and its is not essy to panddal and when tube is fill with air the tube is essy to panddal

Because the area of tube which was in contact with ground becomes less because of which the frictional force is reduced and it becomes easy to ride
