When we read aloud we don't have much presence, we just concentrate on our speaking and reading that's why usually people say not to read you would not understand it , you would just mug up it .
Anyway coming back to our point .
When we are reading all alone loudly , we just try to give expressions and usually don't try to understand the concept but when we speak infront of someone we concentrate as not to make any mistakes and this how our concentration is divided into speaking , reading and a very little on understanding that's all most ended as per our mordern age .
Hope it helps!
