when we rotate a ball which has a string attached to it it goes away from us . why?if centripetal force is acting on it isn't it is supposed to come near us . plz tell no google . explain it in short class 11 and 12 students

when a ball is attached to a string and then when you apply force it rotates why do you know
it is because two forces are simultaneously acting one is centripetal as well as centrifugal if either of the force for example if only centripetal force would have act then the string would come towards you without any rotation
