After 3:50 pm to about 6:00 pm - - - - - - >good evening..

After 12 :00 pm , we say "GOOD AFTERNOON".

We are saying "GOOD EVENING " after 3:30 naturally , but it is wrong..

We should say " GOOD EVENING", When the sun begins to sink. It means after 5:30- 6:30 pm, that time. This will continue late into the night too.
