when we write equation of ellipse is it neccessary to give big values to 'a' &small value to 'b'
pls answer if you know
this is for my exam..​

Well, it depends upon the question. It will be given in the question itself which type of ellipse is it. If it's major axis is x-axis, big value will be assigned to a, andif it's major axis is y-axis, it's big value will be assigned to b.
