As per information shared on twitter, Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 7 devices will receive MIUI 12 update by 10th October, while POCO M2 and Redmi 9 Prime will get the same update by 15th October. Additionally, it is also revealed that all Redmi 8 series devices such as Redmi 8 and Redmi 8A will receive MIUI 12 update by October 22 while the Redmi 7 series devices will get MIUI 12 update by October 25. It is also claimed that all the eligible devices will receive MIUI 12 update by Diwali in India.
This is just a speculation that comes from one of the telegram groups, and we are not sure how accurate the information actually is. Xiaomi has not revealed any such micro-schedule for MIUI 12 update and we will have to wait for some time to see if the claims made are actually correct.
