Acetic or ethanoic acid is soluble in water in any proportion or ratio.
So no precipitation occurs
it dissolves in it, leaving a colorless liquid.

A colorless solution is obtained bcoz....acetic acid readily dissolve in water....it doz nt gv ny precipitate.
