When you are crossing the road, a speeding truck is coming towards you. If the occipital lobe is damaged, what can happen?

Damage to one side of the occipital lobe causes homonomous loss of vision with exactly the same "field cut" in both eyes.

Occipital lobe has visual area. So if that is damaged sense of light, vision will be affected. Also association visual function abilities like perception, analysis, and storing information obtained by sight might get harmed
