When we are sitting in a school bus ,on our way to school then we are in the following state -

• The motion is a completely relative physical quantity. Because the existence of the motion is dependent on the spectator and spectator's medium of spectating.

• Similarly, when we are in the bus,we are sitting still in the bus and our spectating medium is the internal space of the bus. That's why it's feel that we are in still position and the external environment is passing backwards if we look through the window.

• But,if a person is spectating us from outside then the is medium of spectating is the stationary earth by which he compares the motion of us and our bus. In this case both us and our bus are in moving state to the spectator who is standing outside.
