Yes,by planting more plants and conserving trees we indirectly conserve the soil as the roots of the trees holds the soil and prevents it from being eroded, and another reason is that some plants are capable of nitrogen cycle which keeps the soil rich in nitrogen.We know that in our day to day life the forest is cutting on large scale, this result in cause of soil erosion because forest cover or attack the soil and we are the people cutting trees all the time.If we conserve trees ultimately indirectly or directly we also conserve soil.the trees have roots which hold the soil in plave and prevents it from eroding
