Let the number that must be multiplied with the 15 so that we will get 50 more than 500 (i.e., 450) be x.

Now, According to the Question,

15 × x = 400 + 50
⇒ 15x = 450
∴ x = 30 


Hence, the number that should be multiplied with the 15 so that we will get the 50 more than the 400 is 30.
