when zinc reacts with nitric acid it results in the formation of zinc nitrate ,water and NO2 but why NO2 and water does not react again to form nitric acid

Bcoz Nitrogen is more elecronegative element.
So it will react with zinc easily bcoz zinc is good doner of an electrons.
