Bailadila hills are mountains that arise in the Deccan Plateau region. They are located 200 km away on the western side of the Eastern
Ghats. They are a series of continuous mountain ranges and are found near the Kirandul town in the Dantewada district
of southern Chattisgarh state, India. Its
shape is very much similar to the " hump of an ox " so it is called
'Bailadila'. It is a very good mining area and produces good quality
iron ore.
