Where are Helen's opinions about examination
Answers
Answer:
Helen calls examinations as the chief bug bears. She feels so annoyed about. Back at Radcliffe, looking at her fellow college mates, she feels that they were literally walking dead as they had to prepare for their exams. She thought that they were mummified.
Though she chose her favorite subjects at Radcliffe such as Elizabethan literature and Shakespearan literature, she fpound no time to complete them.
During the time of her exams she feels her courage oozing out of her finger ends. She found the whole process irksome and of no use. She also says that the teachers must consult the students before even setting the question paper.
And then she talks about Huss. she finds it very difficult when she find the question paper asking her a question regarding Huss, a person from her text books. She will have to ransack her mind just to find Huss sitting at the corner of her brain oblivious to the fact that she was calling upon heaven and hell to find him, and when she does, its about time for the examination to get over. So with an intense feeling of disgust she drags herself back home.
