Bipolar ganglion cells are the unique feature of the retina.

Explanation:

These cells have only one dendron and one axon. The dendron divides into a few dendrites, but it has a special feature. By the region of fovea centralis, the dendrons don’t divide at all and form only one synapse with the preceding cells.

But, in the region of the sides of retina, these cells have a bunch of dendrites. Bipolar cells conduct the impulse collected by the rods and cones and further transport them to the preceding layers of the human retina.
