Where are the isotopes of the same elements having different atomic masses placed in the

the isotopes of a same element have same atomic number to their mass number is different hence they are placed at one place in the same group of the modern periodic table example all the three isotopes of Hydrogen have same number of protons so they are placed at one place in the same group of the periodic table

According to Modern periodic table, the isotopes are not placed in different places , rather they are considered to have a single place because according to modern periodic law, atomic number is more accurate property than the atomic mass and so the elements have been arranged in order of increasing atomic number.
