Leydig cells:Leydig cells also called as Interstitial cells. In the connective tissue present between the seminiferous tubules, small groups of rounded interstitial cells are present. These are present in the testes within small compartments known as testicular lobules.

Function:The main function of Leydig cells is to synthesize a group of testicular hormones known as androgens which are responsible for the secondary sexual growth of males and, also for the growth and production of sperms.
