The chromatin material constitutes a fibre which is formd of -DNA and Histones so DNA is a double helix structure found in chromatin it is a very large single molecule and hence it is described as a macromolecule. The DNA structure was first studied by Rosalind Franklin in the year 1953.
Hope this will help you.
