Where do evaporation and clouds formation take place on a large scale.?

according to our surrounding like pounds, rivers, ocean etc are the large scalar quantites
when the temperature rises the water of pounds, rivers, ocean etc evaporate and go to the atmosphere and now by codensation they form cloud

The evaporation takes place everywhere on our planet but water bodies like ponds,lakes,seas, ocean etc it's the most as the sun rays fall directly on them and when the evaporated water raises up to the atmosphere the water vapours slowly cools down and form clouds.
