Where do the lipids and proteins constituting the cell membrane get synthised?

Lipids present in the cell membrane are synthesized in the smooth endoplasmic reticulum which does not contain the ribosomes. However, theproteins are produced in the rough endoplasmic reticulum, which is called so because it has the ribosomes attached to the endoplasmic reticulum.

Golgi apparatus is that cytoplasmic organelle of animal cell which do synthesis of plasma membrane, cell wall, etc.

These Golgi apparatus has a complex systems of tubules and vesicles and functions in the processing and packaging of cell secretions also.

This Golgi apparatus also produces vacuoles.
