Hello dear.....☺☺☺☺☺☺

Most of that refraction in the eye takes place at the first surface, since the transition from the air into the cornea is the largest change in index of refraction which the light experiences.______________________

About 80% of the refraction occurs in the cornea and about 20% in the inner crystalline lens._____________

Answer:

the clear front “window” of the eye. The cornea's refractive power bends the light rays in such a way that they pass freely through the pupil the opening in the center of the iris through which light enters the eye. The iris works like a shutter in a camera.
