Where does the bulk density play an important role??? in aggregate???

Bulk density of aggregates tells us whether the aggregates is will be loosely packed or tightly packed in the space.

If the aggregate is loosely packed, there will be voids in between filled with air or other materials which will affect the strength as well the purpose of the aggregate.
