In the poem-The Road Not Taken, the person is standing at the bifurcating point of the road, from where the road is getting divided into two. Now,since these are two different pathways,so they will definitely lead the person to two different destinations.Since,it's very confusing as to on which pathway should he continue,he's in a big dilemma. All different kinds of emotions are rising in his mind. He's thinking about his future. He's afraid of choosing the wrong path. So,sometimes he's deciding to opt for a new road(new road in the sense, the road which is comparatively less traveled upon) and sometimes,he is making up his mind to go for the one which is tried by almost everyone(because he knows the place where that road will lead to).
