Evergreen forests are found in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala and Maharashtra. And also found in Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Tripura, West Bengal and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
The moist deciduous forests are found in Shiwalik foothills, Bhabar, Tarai, Chhota Nagpur Plateau, the North-eastern Deccan Plateau and North-south strip to the east of the Western ghats

The evergreen firsts are found mostly in madya Pradesh an Tamil Nadu whereas the decidious forest are found in the chota Nagpur plateau.
