Hey,
Area of any triangle= (1/2)×(base)×(altitude)
Let each side of the equilateral triangle be 'a'.
Altitude of equilateral triangle= (√3/2)×a
Hence, Area= (1/2)×(a)×(√3/2)×(a)
Area= (1/2)× (a^2)× (√3/2)
