Initial momentum = 100 kg x 5 m/s = 500 kg m/s

Final momentum = 100 kg x 8 m/s = 800 kg m/s

Change in momentum = 800 - 500 = 300 kg m/s

Force exerted = change in momentum/time = 300 kg m/s / 6 s = 50 kg m/s2 = 50 N

SOLUTUON----

Initial momentum=100kg × 5 m/s= 500 kg m/s
Final momentum=100kg × 8 m/s= 800 kg m/s

Change in momentum = 800 - 500= 300kg m/s

Force exerted=change in momentum/time=300 kg m/s / 6s= 50 kg m/s^2= 50 N
