The elements forming negative ions are non metals and hence they are found in the right hand side of the period 3. c). Elements having high melting points are metals and hence they are found in the left hand side of period 3.

hope this will help and support

a) Right Hand Side: 15, 16, 17, 18

b) Right Hand Side (since they're also non-metals): 15, 16, 17, 18

c) Left Hand Side (since they're metals): 11, 12, 13, 14

d) Right Hand Side (non-metals): 15, 16, 17, 18

e) Left Hand Side: 11, 12, 13, 14

f) Right Hand Side (non-metals): 15, 16, 17, 18
