Meiosis only occurs during the formation of gametes i.e sex cells . They are haploid bodies formed as a result of meiotic division.
Hence in males in the testis which forms the sperms(male gamete) meiotic division will be found.
In females ovaries are the place where ovum(female gamete) is formed in ovarian follicles by meiosis.

In humans Meiotic Divison, Takes place in reproductive organs ( Where sperms or Ovum are formed ) i.e.
In males it happens in Testis.
In females it happens in Ovary.
