Where is Cerebro Spinal Fluid (CSF) present? What is its function?


Anonymous: u r answer is Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) is a clear, colorless body fluid found in the brain and spinal cord. It is produced in the choroid plexuses of the ventricles of the brain, and absorbed in the arachnoid granulations. There is about 125mL of CSF at any one time, and about 500mL is generated every day.

CSF is known as cerebro spinal fluid . it is present in the brain which helps brain from outer shock . it is also present in spinal cord to protect from outer shock.

The CSF runs in the sub arachnoid space between duramater and arachnoid membrane.
Its function is to protect brain from shocks.It has the property of shock absorption.
