food is prepared in leaves..............um
All over the world, actually. First one that comes to mind is the delicious Mexican tamale, traditionally cooked in a corn husk. Another is dolmas, a Greek food wrapped in grape leaves. Many Polynesian foods are wrapped and cooked in leaves. It’s pretty common. I myself make wraps with romaine lettuce leaves instead of flour tortillas.

There is no such place in the leaf particularly where the food is prepared. Chlorophyll and stomata plays a major role in food preparation. The chloroplast absorb sunlight and there occurs a photochemical processes. Larger molecules are broken down to simple molecules. For example, The H2O (water) is broken down to hydrogen and oxygen in the matrix of chloroplast. Glucose is broken down to carbohydrates and finally the food is prepared and stored as starch.
