IVF means in vitro fertilization, in this case fertilization takes outside the female body.

ivf means in vitro fertilisation....it is process by which the gametes of male nd female r collected nd kept in laboratory conditions ...do that a zygote can develop ....it is done because some female have blocked oviducts which prevent the fertilisation while males may have deffected sperm conditions like double headed sperm...if the zygote develops ...it is put back in the mothers womb ...the babies produced by this method r also called test tube babies
