Muller's organ is found in arthropods especially in the Acrididae family consisting of insects.
In general, a group of numerous scolopophores forms a swelling called as the Muller's organ. In Acrididae, this term is applied to the auditory organ which forms the inner surface of each tympanum and connected by the auditory nerve to the metathoracic ganglion.
Grasshopper is an important example of the insects having the Muller's organ. A few Locusts and crickets are also known to have the Muller's organ.
