Answer:

Neurons are the structural and functional unit of our nervous system. They are found inside our body, especially inside the nerve fibres to be more precise. Neurons transmit messages or impulses from and to the spinal cord and brain. They are the ones which manipulate our sense and reaction department of our body.

Hope this helps.

Answer:

Location of neurons :

They are located in the central nervous system (brain and spinal cord) and in autonomic ganglia. Multipolar neurons have more than two processes emanating from the neuron cell body.

Function of neurons :

The neurons (or excitable nerve cells) of the nervous system conduct electrical impulses, or signals, that serve as communication between sensory receptors, muscles and glands, and the brain and spinal cord.
