The most common reptiles that we found are the crocodiles, snakes, lizards, turtles, alligators etc. Well if you closely observe or think about the places that these reptiles are found then the first thing that will strike your mind is lakes, ponds or even most commonly tropical land where the temperate is not too cold and too hot. Well the most of the reptiles before evolution they were in the water and then later on due to the process of evolution they moved on towards land. The reptiles are usually cold-blooded it means that they can be able to change their temperature from the surroundings. The reptiles need normal temperature which is quiet often found in the tropical zone and even temperate zone of the earth, just like the continents South-America, Africa, South-Asia. The Reptiles are mostly not found in the polar zones i.e. Antarctica and Arctic circles. Hence I conclude that the reptiles are mostly not found in the extreme North and South of the Earth, the places are also known as Antarctica and Arctic.

⇒ "If you would include the birds in the paragraph you want, then the answer would be there is no such place where the reptiles don't exists"

⇒ All the points above are excluding the birds in the reptile family.

TO BE KNOWN:
Birds come under the family of the reptiles, we can find birds in the extreme zone that is before of the polar region in places like Greenland and Ireland.

Iceland doesn't have any snakes or any native reptiles or amphibians and I doubt very much if one could survive for long if it was released.

In Reykjavik even pet snakes and reptiles are illegal to own, although I’m not really sure why. You still hear on occasion that dogs are banned in Reykjavik but that ban was lifted a while ago and as long as you have the proper license and microchip you can have a dog in the city.

Even though dogs are legal you just don’t see many in Reykjavik or Akureyri and cats definitely seem the pet of choice. They require a microchip and many families seem to have a kitty.

If you walk around Reykjavik you will probably get to meet some of the local cats and most are friendly and go right up to strangers. Even though the city can seem like it’s crawling with cats at times, I think the vast majority are pets and there are very few feral felines.

It’s possible that someone might have a pet snake out in the country somewhere and perhaps there are some reptiles in one of the zoos, but there certainly are no snakes slithering around wild in Iceland.

HOPE IT HELPS YOU !!
