Hence is used in place of "therefore" in suitable sentences.

Ex-He had no television hence he went to Reema's house.

comma is used in a single sentence to break or separate the words of sentences...Use a comma before any coordinating conjunction (and, but, for, or, nor, so, yet) that links two independent clauses. ...

Use a comma after a dependent clause that starts a sentence. ...

Use commas to offset appositives from the rest of the sentence.

Ex- We had coffee, cheese and crackers and grapes.

The little boy wanted to know from her mother that what makes a balloon go up in the air.

HOPE IT HELPS!!

Anonymous: The little boy wanted to know from her mother that what made a balloon went up in the air........why are we not changing it into past..is it universal truth?
Anonymous: Is comma used anywhere when we connect two sentences using hence or therefore?
naiksamikshya: Yes, it is universal truth
naiksamikshya: As far as comma used in a sentence using hence/therefore is concerned, it depends on the question.
naiksamikshya: note that it is more common to omit the commas around “hence” than after “thus” in formal writing): correct He is not satisfied. Hence(,) we must prepare a new proposal.
