Invented by Henry Cort in 1784 (superseding the finery process), it was the first method that allowed wrought iron to be produced on a large scale

Tower, bridges, and the original framework of the Statue of Liberty were built with the puddled iron, and is still being used by a lot of countries today.

THE Answer is:

  • The puddling process was invented by Henry Cort in 1784.
  • It consisted of of stirring molten pig iron to remove carbon from the iron and turn it into wrought iron.
  • It was the first method that allowed wrought iron to be created on a large scale

If you wanna say bout today

it is not used at all cuz we got smelting which is much easier and lss time consuming.

thank you
