The arms are basically the limbs which are modified to wings in case of birdsand bats. The wings of the bat and thebird are analogous while the forelimbs are homologous in nature. The forelimbs are modified into wings; both the bird and bats have nearly same sets of bones; which are called ashomologous structures. \
