Kunjaramallan Rajaraja Perunthachan was the great Sthapati (architect and sculptor) who was commissioned by Raja Raja Chola to construct the largest Shiva temple of that time at Thanjavur. Thus, he is known to be the architect of the Brihadesvara TTemple at Thanjavur from inscriptions.
