Whi was nana saheb and wht did he do regarding thr revolt

Nana Saheb was last Peshwa and he was denied throne as he was adopted child of Peshwa. He was given pension and was sent to Kanpur, far away from his family seat. There he spent his money in useful items for revolt

Nana saheb was the adopted son of Baji Rao II.He led the revolt in Kanpur. In 1857,he was declared as a peshwa.With the help of Tantia Tope and Azimullah, he attacked the British. But however the British brought fresh armies and defeated him in June 1857.
