Answer: Folic Acid.

Explanation:

The acid which prevents spreading of cancer cell if folic acid.

Consumption of higher proportion of food which are rich in folic acid help in spreading of cancer cells. Intake of citrus fruits and leafy vegetables ( dark green ones) like spinach ,legumes, vegetables and whole grains is often recommended for this purpose.

Deficiency of folic acid can lead to DNA damage in cancer cells. Folic acid helps in creating new cells and tissues. It also help in maintaining the  red blood cells in a healthy state.

Hope this helps.

The acid that prevents the spreading of ‘cancer cells’ is the folic acid.

Higher intake of ‘folic acid rich foods’ such as ‘vegetables, legumes, and whole grains’ would prevent the spread of cancer cells. The folic acid is required for DNA methylation and DNA synthesis, deficiency in this causes the development of mutagenic cancer cells.

Also cancer cells have a folic acid receptor on their surface and hence a folic acid molecule can target and destroy the cancer cell.
