Which amongst the two diseases: acute or chronic has adverse effect on the health of a person? Explain giving a suitable example.
This is what i wrote: Chronic diseases have an adverse effect on the health of the person as it is dangerous and lasts for a long time, due to which the health of the person becomes bad. For example, common cold comes and goes, but chronic diseases like cancer stays for a long period of time and affects the victim badly.

Chronic disease is more harmful than acute disease.

It is because chronic diseases are long term diseases, which causes serious damage to our health. Chronic diseases even lasts for life time and may also lead to death. It includes conditions like AIDS, cancer, etc.
Acute diseases are short term diseases that does not cause severe conditions. These diseases can be cured easily and completely. Some of the examples include fever, headache, etc.
