There isn't a way to define an animal by how "smart" it seems to be. However pigs show more of a humane behavior, tending to learn things fast like humans and recognize the need for protection from the sun's UV rays, that's why they tend to use mud as a "sunhat" or a "protective layer".

However cows cannot be excluded from the top list because they also show the capability of learning things quickly (almost all animals do that, but cows tend to do it more frequently), they tend to analyze their surroundings and also feel humane emotions such as mood swings, pain and anxiety.

So if we were to define animals by how "smart" they are, it is like comparing apples and oranges.
