Nature of the material and temperature.

harsha3175: ya...ofcourse
harsha3175: no...it depends on area of cross section and nature of the material as well as length of the material
harsha3175: what is the diffrence
harsha3175: ya...

hey friend,

some factors which influence the resistivity are:

•THE LENGTH OF THE WIRE

increasing the length increases the resistivity.

•THE THICKNESS OF THE WIRE

increasing the thickness decreases the resistivity.

•THE TEMPERATURE OF WIRE

increasing the temperature increases the resistivity.

Hope this answer helps you!
