DIABETES MELLITUS
It occurs due to deficiency of insulin which is secreted by pancreas .
Reasons for Insulin deficiency
* diseases in pancreas
* obesity - due to which signal from Insulin is not transduced to target cells
DIABETES INSIPIDUS
It is due to deficiency of VASOPRESSIN - a hormone released by the pituitary gland.
This hormone prevent excessive loss of water through urine ( anti diuretic )
In this case water is lost in large amounts
HEART DISEASES
Main heart disease is MYOCARDIAL INFARCTION ( HEART ATTACKS) - This occurs due to blockage of coronary artery that supply blood to heart .If these are blocked ( by cholesterol mostly ) due to lack of blood supply heart tissue start dying.
I THINK FOR 9 TH IT IS SUFFICIENT .
