Hey mate! Here's an attempt to answer ur question...

A sentence that contains personification can be said as personified sentence.

Personification refers to giving life to inanimate/ non livin' objects.

eg: The sea was hungry.

Here, the sea is non living in reality. But, it has been described as if it is alive. some more examples might help u...

*The clock stared at me.

*The pen spoke so loudly.

*The death whispered, "ur too early darling!"

Metaphor refers to the comparison of two objects. Here, there r chances of getting with simile and metaphor... A simile has linking word while metaphor doesn't. for example, "she dances like peacock"- in this sentence there is the usage of the word "like".

"she is the peacock of our institution"- here, the girl herself is refered as peacock. There is no usage of words such as "like" or "as".

examples for metaphor:

*She is a shining star.

*Her heart is gold.

*The calm lake was the mirror.

Hope this helps u...❤️
