The current anti poverty strategy of the government is based broadly on two planks:*promotion of economic growth*targeted anti poverty programmesThe poverty alleviation programs were not successful in most parts of india as these programmes didnt reach to the people effectively.The government failed to impliment the laws.the schemes did not reach to the deserving poor.the results were mixed up.
