Which areas are sparsely populated in India and why ?

India is a second most populated country in the world but all the regions of India are not equally populated.

There are many Indian regions which are sparsely populated due to geographical reasons.

For example, desert regions of the Rajasthan district is low populated due to the extremely hot and dry weather.Similary hillstation like Ladakh is also low populated due to the previous natural disasters which destroyed it's locality.

There are many other regions in our country which are low populated too due to many reasons.
