Explanation:

Gujarat, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Tripura and Mizoram are the states that don't get overhead sunrays. The far north regions of India such as Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh etc do not get perpendicular sun rays.
